Magnetology involves correcting and restoring the imbalance of the Earth’s geomagnetic field. It applies magnetic technologies to the economy, as well as solving ecological problems and finding ways to treat mankind better. A lot of research is underway to create special magnetic devices and systems to achieve all of this.

 

UNDERSTANDING MAGNETOLOGY

The Earth is a giant magnet. The magnetic field on the surface of the Earth, known as the geomagnetic field, is created by the Earth’s inner structure.

Magnetism is concerned with:

  • The magnetic field of the Earth.
  • The magnetic constituents of the Earth and the Moon.
  • Interplanetary magnetic fields.
  • Solar plasma interaction with the magnetic field of the Earth.
  • The influence of solar magnetic storms on the lithosphere and mankind.

  1. Agriculture

Magnetic water treatmentMagnetic water treatment (MWT) techniques have shown a lot of promise, especially for agriculture. Safety, compatibility and simplicity, environment friendliness, low operating costs and no proven harmful effects are the main advantages of electromagnetic field (EMF) over conventional methods for water treatment.

Magnetized or magnetic water (MW) possesses unique physical and chemical characteristics, making it a multi-purpose compound with potential benefits in medical treatment, as well as industrial and environmental applications. The unique physical and electrochemical characteristics of MW have attracted interest in research for developing different devices and techniques for agricultural and environmental applications.

Improvements in irrigation water quality and quantity, crop yields and quality, soil improvement and water saving are some of the reported agricultural benefits of MWT, while magnetic field treatment has shown to be beneficial for the germination of seeds, plant growth and development, and the ripening and yields of field crops.

The main challenge applying MW to agriculture is the efficient integrating of irrigation components and designing suitable pumps compatible with the technical and field requirements of magnetic MWT systems. The present study reviews the agricultural applications of MW, while its practical challenges and future perspectives are discussed.

The purpose of MPE:

  1. By magnetising the water used for drilling lubrication, we can extend the life of the core drills and increase drilling efficiency.
  2. Magnetising the extracted liquids prior to pumping reduces the effects of saline encrustation; after pumping, it improves the flow capacity of the liquids through pipes to settlement or storage tanks.
  3. By magnetising the extracted combined oil/water liquid, we can significantly improve the efficiency of the initial dewatering process.
  4. By magnetising immediately prior to settlement or separation, we can improve sedimentation and the separation process.

 


 

  1. Treatment of natural and sewage water

Treatment of natural and sewage water

The magnetic techniques offer cost-effective, speedy results. We have the technology that can:

 

  1. Make water biologically active (living water).
  2. Self-purify water systems.
  3. Allow self-adjustment to the water biological balance.
  4. Clarify water, needed because of enhanced coagulation and the precipitation of insoluble solids in the water.
  5. Scale down the contents of H2S and CO2 in the water, caused by magnetic degassing treatment.
  6. Increase the concentration of dissolved oxygen.
  7. Control pH.
  8. Reduce pathogenic bacteria in the water.
  9. Have a positive impact on the adjacent residential areas: higher oxygen content and fewer toxic gases in the ambient air.
  10. Double the capacity of sewage plants without expanding the facility for wastewater treatment.

Construction industryIn the construction industry, magnetic systems may be used for water treatment, ensuring the following:

 

  1. Cement saving (up to 25%) with no loss in concrete durability
  2. Better concrete mix plasticity without the application of costly and hazardous chemicals, such as super plasticisers
  3. Enhanced concrete resistance to aggressive media, which is extremely

important in the Gulf climate

  1. Positive changes in water absorption and water impermeability, as well as dramatic reduction in metal corrosion in reinforced concrete structures
  2. Longer concrete lifetime (1.5-2 times). This will save a lot of money, as construction investment life is directly based on this factor.

  1. Enhancement of cooling efficiency by at least 30%
  2. Reduction of incrustation growth all the way down the water loop, up to 3-4 times

  4. Dramatic reduction in existing deposits to negligible soft formations that can be readily washed away by the water flow.
  5. Reduction in the cost of the chemicals involved in the softening process of water treatment.
  6. Specific heat of vaporisation of ‘magnetised water 15-24% lower than for usual water.

These devices can be indispensable when treating complicated diseases like vegetative-vascular dystonia, neurasthenia, headaches, sleeping disorders, diabetes, cancer, arterial hypertension, spinal column osteochondrosis, genital male disorders and inflammatory diseases of the female small pelvic organs.

 

Magnetology clinic

We envisage the creation of a specialist health and treatment centre based on the developments achieved using this science in the former Soviet Union states. This institution would be the world’s first magnetology clinic, with an international reputation.
